COVID-19 has changed how we work securely

Massive increase in remote working requires technology and market changes
How we work, educate and interact has changed drastically. The rapid spread of COVID-19 has seen many of us confined to our homes, yet expected to carry on with our daily routines as much as possible. The profile of our organisations, institutions and education facilities has changed drastically and likely, forever.

As a security lead, you're now faced with a myriad of challenges in response to these rapid changes. Not only do you have a completely new security profile across your organisation and significant business continuity measures to consider, there are also threat actors intent on taking advantage of one of the world's most serious crises in a century.

With endpoints here, there and everywhere, you likely have many concerns and quite frankly, worries, as you battle to keep your organisation and people secure.

It's time to rethink our approach to security. And, quite often, seismic macroeconomic shifts such as the one we're experiencing right now, open up the gateway to change.

The Democratisation of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management).

The most advanced security capabilities shouldn't sit exclusively in the domain of only those who can afford it. It's time for the SIEM industry to remove the barriers to adoption and deliver on what has been an unfulfilled promise of value. And, that only comes from providing you with access to a range of next-generation, platform-led services and controls at a fixed cost.

The following article outlines our approach to SIEM, and how we think it's time for change at a time when we all need as much help as we can get.
